Hamlet Nkwain our Executive Director. He has extensive experience as an activist in Cameroon, including a strong volunteering experience and serving on the Steering Committee of the Black Queer Travel Guide and as Chair of the Bi Steering Committee of ILGA World. He is also an abstract reviewer for ICASA and International Aids Society. 

Nkwain Hamlet is a distinguished human rights advocate recognized for his leadership in advancing equality, gender diversity, and decriminalization initiatives in Cameroon. His expertise spans multiple thematic areas, including social justice, inclusive legal systems, and rights-based policy reform. Hamlet holds specialized certifications in gender and environmental governance, international and African mechanisms on freedom of expression, as well as the African human rights framework. Over the course of his work, he has supported close to 200 critical cases involving vulnerable populations, providing intervention, documentation, and strategic response. Today, he is regarded as a key consultant and voice within national advocacy spaces championing dignity, safety, and equal access to justice for all.

Director Brice TCHUENGUIA 

Pronouns: He/Him/They or non-binary

Brice TCHUENGUIA  is the Administrative and Operation Director and he is the former member of Pan Africa ILGA (PAI) board and holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Development from the University of Buea. TCHUENGUIA also doubles as Campaign, legal consultant, and strategy advisor.

He is a dedicated person, problem solver and determined at advocating for the rights of sexual and gender minorities in Cameroon and the globe at large. He is an award-winning Activist and one of the best LGBTQ+ Rights consultants in Africa.

LAFON George Nchadze

Pronouns: He/Him/His/They

LAFON George Nchadze is our Resource Mobilization and Campaign Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Comparative politics with Distinction from the University of Buea.

He is a certified Para-Jurist and also doubles as a Global LGBTIQ Human Rights Campaigner certified by ReportOUT, a British based organization.

He also holds a certificate of Course completion in Meditating Violent Conflict from the United States Institute of Peace. He is a certified LGBTQ Media Advocate certified by TABOOM.

Lafon is a good Public speaker and writer, He has a captivating background in Digital Communication and blogging. He is resilient, result-oriented.

Mintaka Christiane Damas

Pronouns: Non-binary, or you can just use his name

MINTAKA Christian Damas is our Programs Director.

He holds a master’s degree in political sociology from the University of Douala and a Professional Training course On Project Writing.

MINTAKA is a project consultant for Community Based Organizations in the city of Douala. He also doubles as Para-Jurist and an advocate for entrepreneurship. He is a dedicated and passionate person, full of innovative ideas and creativity.
