Hamlet NKWAIN is the Executive Director of Working for Our Wellbeing Cameroon. Before the creation of  WFW in 2016, Hamlet worked with the International Aids Society as an abstract reviewer as a volunteer. He is currently a steering committee member at Black Queer Travel Guide made for the black afro queer person travelling around the world, and Abstract reviewer for ICASA.

NKWAIN is a mega award-winning Activist in Cameroon, with a wide range of experience. 

He holds major certificate on:      

  1. Gender and Environment
  2. International Standards of Freedom and expression from the Bonavero Institute of Rights and UNESCO.
  3. Introduction to the African Human Rights system From the Center of Human Rights University of Pretoria.
  4. Standards Internationaux et Africains sur la liberté d’expression UNESCO
  5. ICASA Delegate etc.

NKWAIN is currently one of the Major consultants in Cameroon pushing forth with his agenda of Decriminalization, Gender diversity, Gender equality and gender parity. He has intervened in close to 200 cases of Arrest and human rights abuse. He holds an unbeatable record in Cameroon.

Director Brice TCHUENGUIA

Brice TCHUENGUIA  is the Program Director and is the Current Treasurer of Pan Africa ILGA (PAI) and holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Development from the University of Buea. TCHUENGUIA also doubles as Campaign, legal consultant, and strategy advisor.

He is a dedicated person, problem solver and determined at advocating for the rights of sexual and gender minorities in Cameroon and the globe at large. He is an award-winning Activist and one of the best LGBTQ+ Rights consultants in Africa.

LAFON George Nchadze

Pronouns: He/Him/His/They

LAFON George Nchadze is the Communication Officer of Working for Our Wellbeing Cameroon. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Comparative politics with Distinction from the University of Buea.

He is a certified Para-Jurist and also doubles as a Global LGBTIQ Human Rights Campaigner certified by ReportOUT, a British based organization.

He is a certified Para-Jurist and also doubles as a Global LGBTIQ Human Rights Campaigner certified by ReportOUT, a British based organization.

He also holds a certificate of Course completion in Meditating Violent Conflict from the United States Institute of Peace. He is a certified LGBTQ Media Advocate certified by TABOOM.

Lafon is a good Public speaker and writer, He has a captivating background in Digital Communication and blogging. He is resilient, result-oriented.

Mintaka Christiane Damas

Pronouns: Non-binary, or you can just use his name

MINTAKA Christian Damas is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of Working for Our Wellbeing.

He holds a master’s degree in political sociology from the University of Douala and a Professional Training course On Project Writing.

MINTAKA is a project consultant for Community Based Organizations in the city of Douala. He also doubles as Para-Jurist and an advocate for entrepreneurship. He is a dedicated and passionate person, full of innovative ideas and creativity.

HONBA MPYM Daniel

Pronouns: He/Him/His/They

HONBA MPYM Daniel is the Human Resource Manager and Logistician of Working for Our Wellbeing. He holds a professional degree in Human Resource Management from the Golf University Institute. He also doubles as Para-Jurist and resource Management consultant.

He is fully committed and focused, always ready to successfully navigate out of any institutional crisis.
