1. What is Working for Our Wellbeing?[Example]
Working for Our Wellbeing (WFW) is a Cameroonian community organization advocating for the dignity, rights and wellbeing of sexual and gender minorities. Our work combines practical support, access to healthcare, community connection and advocacy against discrimination and violence.
2. Who can ask WFW for support?[Example]
Our work supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and other sexual and gender minority people in Cameroon, including people questioning their identity. Different programmes may have different eligibility requirements. Contact us about your situation so we can discuss what support is available.
3. Can I ask for help if I am not “out” or do not know how to describe my identity? [Example]
You can start with questions. You do not need to have everything figured out or choose a label to ask about our services. If you are concerned about someone discovering that you contacted us, explain your privacy concerns before sharing personal details.
4. How do I contact you, and what should I include in my first message?[Example]
Use the contact options on our Contact page. A short message explaining the type of help you need and a safe way to reply is a useful starting point. Avoid sending identity documents or a detailed personal history in your first message.
